Do I need an account to use Keptiq?

No. Keptiq works completely offline. No registration, no login, no email required.

Where are my documents stored?

All documents are stored exclusively on your iPhone in a private app container. No data is sent to external servers. Your documents are protected by your device's encryption and optional Face ID lock.

How does the AI classification work?

Keptiq uses Apple's on-device AI (Foundation Models) to analyze your documents. Text recognition (OCR), title extraction, and category suggestions all happen directly on your device. No data leaves your iPhone.

What happens to my documents if I delete the app?

Your documents are stored in the app's private container. Before deleting the app, use the export function to save your documents (e.g., via the Files app or AirDrop). After uninstalling, the data is removed from your device.

What does Keptiq Premium include?

With Premium you get unlimited AI classification for all your documents, structured export with folder hierarchy, and all future features. It is a one-time purchase with no subscription.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

Open Keptiq, go to Settings, tap "Keptiq Premium", then tap "Restore Purchase". Your premium status will be restored automatically if a previous purchase is found.

Can I use Keptiq on iPad?

Keptiq is currently optimized for iPhone. It can run on iPad in compatibility mode, but the interface is designed for iPhone.

How can I export my documents?

Long-press on a category or folder in the archive, then select "Export". Free users can export documents as a flat list. Premium users can export with the original folder structure preserved.

Is my data backed up automatically?

Keptiq documents are included in your regular iPhone backup (iCloud or Finder/iTunes). To additionally save documents outside the app, use the export function.
